This is what I found in the video's info: "Here is how to instantly freeze water. Any carbonated drink will work. Put it in your freezer for 3 hours. When you are done, (be careful not to disturb the water) open the bottle and put a piece of ice in the bottle."
This trick is known as supercooling. When you get certain liquids up to certain temperatures (without freezing them), then expose them to something even colder (really fast), the liquid will freeze...instantly. There are ways to supercool water. Youtube shows a few.
