I think we should be able to wear skirts because u guys say it has to be until ur middle finger and some people like me have really long hands so it comes to me knee well by there and then people have really short arms and its not fair
I think that students should beable to wear tank tops, but it has to be at least two fingers thick in strapes
I think people should be able to wear tank tops. Supposedly the only reason we cant is because its distracting but how are shoulders distracting?
Tank tops--atleast 2 or three finger thick straps. No halters or tube tops. Tops exposing waistline ehh no thank you, i would say at least cut off at the top of jeans or something. No exessivly unbuttoned shirts.
Sunglasses--i dont know because who wants to wear sunglasses inside anyway?
Headscarves, sweat bands, and bandanas---yes, i dont feel they are distarcting in anyway
See through matericals-- Wear layers
Skirts are fine
no ripped jeans under the butt cheek, unless you have leggings or something underneath them.
pants not at waist line, it donesnt bother everyone, thats your call.
I agree with the girls being able to wear skirts and the test with the middle finger isn't right as I know and have seen some girls have long legs/arms and other girls with short legs/arms get away with wearing short skirts. This is not a valid test. Also, the girls should be able to wear the leggins if the skirts are too short. Come on this is a public school, and there is nothing wrong with that dress attire. If you are requiring a dress code, then maybe the teachers should "dress up." The men wear ties, and the ladies wear skirts and dresses. Be fair; don't be prudes this is not a catholic private school.
I think that the tactics people use to argue dress code lack an the air of being influential and capable. In reality, people live by dress codes and rules. I live to breaek many rules: that is my little touch on the world. I find it insignificant to break a dress code because a dress code is logical. WHY do you need to wear short skirts? WHY would you want to wear short skirts? THe answers to these question indicate a purpose that isn't age or school appropriot.
If your going to do something, think about why you would need to or want to. If the answer is nonsensical don't do anyhting. If the answer is not ridiculous, do something about it.
I bet that if students got togehter and proffesionally introduced the idea of editing a dress code they would get much more recognition and elder support if they had contenet behind their claims.
i think we should be able to wear ripped jeans that are ripped above our knees.
i think that girls should be allowed to wear tank tops aslong as they are not see through and they dont show your stomach.. and we should be able to wear what ever type of shorts we want as long as the girls butt doesnt hang out......
bandana, or other head things dont bother anyone so whats wrong whith that.....
how is it that teachers always say EVERYONE has to follow the dress code and yet teachers still wear tank tops and stuff like that?????????
