School Dances
After school today we are have our first school-wide dance.
What do you think about having grade-level specific dances (8th grade only, 7th grade only, 6th grade only)?

that would be so cool t have a 7th grade dancE! u could call it..... stuck in the middle at middle school dance or something like tht. 6th grade could be....the little ones dance..... and 8th grade at the end of the year could have a last dance at wyandot or something!
I do not think it would be a good idea to have specific dances. It would cost too much to rent a DJ, so we would just have to listen to CDs over and over again. The place would be empty. That's why I don't think we should have grade specific dances.
I feel that it would be nice to have a dance just for the 8th grade at Wyandot, to say good bye. I mean, each year the 8th graders do so many activities together and become close, they deserve one last hur- rah!
I think it should only be eighth grade because its our last year at wyandot. For all the kids who don't think this is fair because there not in 8th grade it is because eventually everyone would be in eighth grade,right?
I MYSELF am a 7th grader. I am being serious about this too. We should really have seperate dances. That way maybe more of those eighth graders that never show up would actualy come. It would be really cool to have an only 7th grade dance.. IF YOU LOVED US, YOU WOULD DO IT MR. CONOLLY. NO SHAPERONES.
hi i currently attend marine city middle school as a 7th im going to be moving and im going to be attending thi school so i was just checking out this site and i came acrost this question, well at my school that im currently attending we have a dance called mcope or mcman its really kool all the 6th 7th and 8th graders go to it and we have dancing and food and are high skool is conected with the middle skool so we go swimming in the high skool pool to its really kool anyway thats my opion!!!! PEACE
I am an 8th grader. I havent attened many of the dances because of the younger kids, and because none of my friends went. I think that 8th grade should get their own formal dance at the end of the year. I saw in another comment that it would cost too much, but if we sold the tickets for and extra dollar we would make more of a profit, and more people would attend because it is a special dance just for 8th grade. Anyways, I strongly agree with having our own dance and i think it would be a lot of fun for us 8th graders who will be leaving Wyandot this year.
I think we should even it out. Like once or twice a year, ALL grades get together for a school dance, but every now and then each grade can have a mini dance by themselves. But the big dances would be EVERY GRADE TOGETHER. It's only fair. Plus all the grades can mingle together and be a big Wyandot family! Woo hoo!

6th grade should have the dance and not 7th or 8th grade because 6th grade is wickedly cool,awesome and way cooler than 7th or 8th grade (:

I myself know that 8th grade is hoping and pushing for an only 8th grade prom at the end of the year.I hope our dreams on that come true
